STORY OF AN ARTIST BECOMING
Jacqueline Liddell Sheehan
Jacqueline is a self- taught artisan with a natural gift to create. She was first inspired and encouraged to paint at the age of 10, by her grandfather, Les Sheehan in Saxtons River, Vermont. Hence where the name, "Sheehan Studio" was first originated. He passed on in 1981, but his words, lessons, and love remain forever in her mind, heart & soul.
Her unique, out of her mind, mixed medium, art designs are enhanced by her intense and interesting journey thus far, hence her spirited sense of humor about life.
Her colorful works are inspired by God and all creations in nature. They are described as expressive, spiritual, whimsical, imaginative, & inspirational.

She paints on a variety of surfaces from canvas, fabric, wood to tin. She tries to recycle whenever possible making art out of items others discard. Her art is both utilitarian & delightful.
She loves to do consignment works collaborating with the customer to create individual pieces.
Murals, borders, furniture, wall decor, seasonal door art...all are rendered in her singular spirited style.

Jacqueline hopes to expand knowledge and creative expertise across all endeavors. She is working on poetry with paintings inspired by her Grandmother, Bettie Cassie Liddell, of Burlington, Vermont.
